March 2016

March swung around pretty quick and there were many highlights. I managed to sneak off to deepest darkest Wales for a few days with my Wife and Good Friends and pop into Puzzle Wood, in Gloucester for a Lightsaber battle, where they filmed part of the new Star Wars movie…… But on an artistic level, which is…

Private Commission

I was asked to paint a 16ft x 8ft wall as a private commission for a present for a guys wife. He asked me to incorporate a whole bunch of his wife’s favourite things including her beloved Dog, truck, rose wine, Courvoisier, hand bag and even a Juke box playing Grease. Ha.

Upfest were approached by a German film crew, who were doing a youth based TV show about Bristol and how cool the city is. They spoke to Steve from Upfest, the Mayor and took in some of the best sights the city has to offer, including the docks, the Museum and Banksys, Park Street and of…

Download Festival 2014

Download 2014 was on the Horizon and after going last year with Upfest to draw I was hoping they would take me again. The festival is very chilled. No chavs or drugged individuals. Just a good crowd and a few too many beers. It was literally the last minute and I was lucky enough to…

Dean Lane with Nol

Nol was in town for Upfest as he is every year. He wasn’t heading for his flight back to Nolland until later in the afternoon on Monday 9th June, so we grabbed a chance to have a paint together down at Dean Lane skate park. Good fun but just a quickie!!!

Upfest at Bristol VW Fest 2014

Instead they were invited to host a smaller Upfest at the Bristol Volksfest in Easter Compton, with a small selection of artists…

SPZero76 x Captain Kris at the Upfest Gallery

Captain Kris was in Bristol for the Bristol launch night for Cubanisto rum infused beer. We thought it would be a good idea to go for a few paints while he was in town, especially as Californian Photographer Brian MacElvaine was in town to get more photos for his upcoming book. I got in touch with Upfest to…

SPZero76 paints Tobacco Factory car park

On Thursday 6th and Friday 7th March 2014 I painted in the Tobacco Factory car park, Bristol. It felt like ages since I painted in Bristol (the last time was late Nov- early Dec) so I really wanted to do something, although the constant rain wasn’t making it easy. I hadn’t painted a solo wall since…
