Paint Jam down Shoreditch for TheLost Cause

On the 16th May 2014 we had the honour of being the first artists to paint with TheLost Cause in London, on his epic Euro/US tour.

The initial plan was for the full Lost Souls to paint with TLC but due to work commitments only Si and I were available to join him on the day.

Global Street Art promised us a wall and when we turned up, it was the massive one outside Atlantis which we weren’t prepared for. We decided to just hit a section of the wall, but GSA wanted the full wall repainted and suggested a paint jam!

We got straight on our phones and called up a motley crew of London artists to join us, which was great for TLC to meet more people too.

The full wall was eventually covered by The Real Dill, Obit, Seeds, Si Mitchell, TheLost Cause, SPZero76, Saki&Bitches, AR and Himbad.

Si, TLC and I had already agreed to do an American theme, and we struggled thinking of which aspect of Americana was different enough to the UK, and something fun we could work with.

We eventually decided on the gun laws and every man, woman and childs rights to bear arms, which to most UK residents seem quite odd. Ha! It was fun though and I had to paint a Hells Angels biker with ‘Bare’ arms! Ha!
