Lee Bofkin and Global Street Art released their first book ‘Concrete Canvas’ at the start of October, alongside Octopus publishing.
Concrete Canvas is jam packed with awesome photos and art from new and exciting artists, as well as established names, including Ron English, Phlegm, Invader and loads more. It features individual sections dedicated to street art around the World and includes loads of my favourite artists and walls.
If you want to discover new artists from, all around the world, then buy this book. Its not just the usual well known artists that are featured but also loads of lesser known artists who need and deserve more acknowledgment….. including Us! Ha!
Lost Souls feature in the Legal Walls section of the book alongside the awesome Tizer and 2Rise! I’m too fat and lazy to run from the cops. Legal walls work best for me as you can spend more time working on your piece.
To coincide with the launch, Global Street Art teamed up with DeeThree to produce an Augmented Reality app that is triggered by the book’s front cover.
If you aren’t aware of Global Street Art, then get involved and check out their web site as it is the largest online archive of street art photography and Lee was the first person to give Lost Souls a chance, and a wall in London. He still hooks us up with loads of walls too. Thanks loads Lee.
