At the start of October my wife Caz and I took a well deserved holiday.
Loads of friends suggested Ibiza, some suggested the west coast party side of the Spanish island, in San Antonio, and others thought we might enjoy the slower pace of the east coast with the old people and nudist hippy beaches. The thought of being stuck in the middle of an endless party for the whole of our weeks holiday was not one we relished so we chose the quiet side of the island where we could relax. Ibiza is very small and it was easy enough to get to the party side whenever we fancied. We ended up visiting a large chunk of the island which I managed to sticker bomb with Caz’s help.
To my surprise we found loads of cool walls painted by some of my favourite artists, including walls by Malarky and Phlegm in San Antonio, a Pez in the hippy market in Es Canar, an Inkie near the salt flats and a bunch of Fin Dac women in the middle of nowhere. We also found a few smaller pieces from Alec Monopoly, Art Is Trash and stickers from The London Police, D*Face and Pez across the island.
Since returning home I have researched more into street art in Ibiza and I now realise there is a lot more over there that we didn’t even get to see. It seems to have a pretty cool scene, which I would love to get involved in! Emailing Ibiza and Bloop Festival now!!!
